Clue 03 · How I work

Diagnose. Plan. Implement.

  1. 01

    Diagnose

I look at your business the way your customers and your staff see it. Where do people hesitate, drop off or complain?

  2. 02

    Plan

I pick the two or three changes that matter most, and explain why with evidence rather than opinion.

  3. 03

    Implement

I help make the change happen, then measure whether it worked, the way I ran before-and-after surveys at SLATE.

Clue 04 · The psychology lens

Businesses grow when they understand people.

Six ideas from psychology I bring to every business, and the question each one makes me ask.

Clue 05 · Case files

What I've actually done.

  1. The problem

Schools wanted emotional-intelligence training for teachers and students, but it needed approval, partners, money and proof that it worked.

    What I did

    • Wrote the request letter and proposal for the MLA of Kunnathunad's office (Vidya Jyoti scheme)
    • Coordinated four parties: the MLA's office, schools, The Empathy University and survey partner NPOC
    • Managed the budget and cost planning
    • Ran before-and-after phone surveys with teachers and organised the data in Excel

    What happened

Delivered across a full academic year. Teachers' responses were clearly more positive after the sessions.

  2. The problem

A newly launched study-abroad service needed its first clients looked after well, and needed to learn what students actually wanted.

    What I did

    • Assessed each client's needs and guided them through next steps by call, chat and email
    • Contacted students for a survey on studying abroad and recorded every response accurately
    • Followed up on pending responses so nothing was left open

    What happened

Turned the survey results into a findings report for the team. Came back for a second internship.

  3. Illustrative example, not a real client.

    The problem

A neighbourhood café is busy on weekends but quiet on weekdays, and its Instagram followers rarely turn into visits.

    What I did

    • Diagnose: read recent reviews for patterns, walk the journey from Instagram post to counter, time the order queue
    • Plan: pick three changes, e.g. pin a weekday offer, reply to every review, show prices on the menu post
    • Implement: track weekday visits and enquiries for four weeks, then keep what worked

    What happened

One page, three changes and a way to measure them. This is the free pilot I offer small businesses.

Clue 06 · Beyond the résumé

A walk through my world.

  1. Make A Difference India

    Teaching

Every week I taught English, maths, science and EVS to children of migrant families. Nothing has taught me more about patience.

  2. SLATE Murals Project

    Murals

I wrote the proposal: environment classes first, then children painting what they'd learned onto their school walls.

  3. SLATE Theatre Workshop

    Theatre

Helped run acting workshops for school students. Watching shy kids find their voice never gets old.

  4. Final-year research · 350 people

    Humour & EI

How we joke says a lot about how we handle emotions. That's why I believe communication is everything.

  5. The Empathy University · 45 hrs

    Empathy

Worked alongside teacher training and led sessions on emotional intelligence with students.

  6. Favourite book · Murder House

    Mysteries

My favourite book is Murder House by James Patterson. I'm always trying to work out who did it before the end. It trained me to notice small details.

  7. Brownies, cakes, cookies

    Baking

Baking needs precision and patience: measure carefully, follow the steps, wait for the result. Growth plans work the same way.

  8. In my family

    First

First in my family to go to college. It's why I never take an open door for granted.
